The Gulf teams are preparing for the fifth round of the World Cup qualifiers

The teams of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman and Iraq are preparing to participate in the final Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, for the fifth round matches, which will be held next Thursday.

The Saudi team faces its Australian counterpart in the second group matches, which Al-Akhdar has led since the fourth round, after the Australian kangaroo stumbled against Japan 1/2.

In the same group, the Omani team continues its preparations in the city of Sharjah, which will host its confrontation with the Chinese Dragon. The Omani Reds won in the previous round at home 3/1 against Vietnam, to occupy the third place in the group.

In the first group, the UAE national team continues its preparations in Goyang to face South Korea. The UAE team drew 2/2 in the fourth round against Iraq. Al-Abyad ranked fourth, while the Lions of Mesopotamia are in fifth place, and is preparing to face Syria in the fifth round in the meeting hosted by Doha.
