The Gulf teams are participating in the fourth round of the World Cup qualifiers

Today, the matches of the fourth round of the final Asian qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, in which 4 Gulf teams will participate, are Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Oman and the United Arab Emirates.

Saudi Arabia was the only Gulf team that won during the past three rounds, against Vietnam, Oman and Japan, respectively, achieving the full mark, and today it has a new confrontation against China. It will give Green the impetus to advance steadily in the race to Qatar.

The Omani Reds will also host the Vietnam national team today, and Branko Ivankovic, the coach of the Omani national team, hopes to achieve the second victory in the qualifiers to compensate for the past two losses, against Saudi Arabia and Australia, respectively, so that the Reds cling to their last hope of qualifying for the World Cup.

The round is also witnessing a purely Gulf confrontation, between the Emirati Al-Abyad and the Iraq team, in which each of them seeks to win the important and difficult meeting today to maintain the ambition of qualifying, especially after their two disappointing results in the last round, where the Emirati Al White lost to Iran with a clean goal, and the Rafidain Lions drew negatively against Lebanon.
