The Omani beach club suffers its second consecutive loss in the World Cup in Russia

The Omani beach soccer team suffered a second loss in the World Cup finals against Uruguay 4-2, in the second round of the World Cup competitions, which is hosted by Russia from 19 to 29 August.

The first half ended with Uruguay leading with a clean goal, and in the second half, the Omani Reds received a second goal, but they returned and presented a wonderful third half that brought them back to the meeting after scoring two goals through Noah Al Zadjali and Abdullah Al Souti.

The Omani team continued its dominance in this half, which witnessed several missed opportunities, one of which hit the crossbar and deprived them of a goal. Saeed Al Farsi, the beach red guard, also saved many dangerous opportunities from the Uruguayan team.

The last two minutes of this half witnessed the Uruguay team scoring two goals, with the collapse of the Omani team, and the match ended with Uruguay winning 4-2.

The Omani Red lost its first match against Portugal 5-3, and will play its third and final match on Tuesday against Senegal.
