Doha receives the African Super fans
The Organizing Committee of the Total African Super Cup 2020, which will bring together the Egyptian club Al-Ahly, the champion of the African Champions League, and the Moroccan club Nahdet Berkane, the CAF Cup champion (Confederation), announced the holding of the 29th edition with a 30% audience presence.
The match will be played at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in Al-Sadd Club on Friday, 28th of May, at six o’clock in the evening Egyptian time and five o’clock Moroccan time.
Doha’s hosting of the African Super Cup match is the third time in a row, within the framework of cooperation between the Qatar Football Association and the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Al-Ahly won the CAF Champions’ League title after defeating African Super Cup champion Zamalek in the last edition, while the Moroccan club’s Nahdet Berkane was crowned the African Confederation Cup after defeating Egyptian Pyramids.
Al-Ahly won the African title on six previous occasions, while the Moroccan Nahdet Berkane had never won the championship.
