Renard: You will see a new face of Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia coach Hervé Renard promised the fans a different appearance of the team at the 24th Gulf Cup.

“We lost the first game, so we face the wall,” he said. “We need to win if we want to qualify.”

“Everybody knows how difficult the preparations were for this tournament, especially since most of the players participated before the tournament in the league and the Champions League. I am sure that the team will be better and integrated against Bahrain, and we must focus.”

He added: “The Kuwaiti team did not exceed half of the stadium in many times during our game. So football is sometimes cruel. We have some inexperienced players and I support them and take their hands towards correcting mistakes. I trust them all.”

He continued: “As professional players and coach, we are used to pressure, and sure you will see another face of the Saudi team.”

On the return of Al Hilal players, he concluded: “I have nothing to hide from you. There will be seven different players in the starting lineup compared to the first match.”
