Iraq continues preparation for the 24th Gulf opening

The Iraqi team held its training on the ground of Qatar University stadium in preparation for the opening of the Gulf 24, which puts it opposite the Qatari team (the host) on Tuesday evening.
The training was led by Slovenian coach Strijko Katanic in high concentration searching for the title which has been missing from them for more than three decades.
The Iraqi team had a wide follow-up from various spectrums of the Iraqi media in different sectors.
The Iraqi team lacks several key elements, most notably Ismaili player Hammam Tariq, Egyptian Bashar Rassin of Persepolis of Iran, Ribin Solaga professional with Serbian Radnici and also the police players who are facing a confrontation with Nouadhibou (Mauritania) in the Arab Club Championship.
