Al Arabi is crowned champion of the Qatari-Emirati Super Cup

Al-Arabi team was crowned champion of the Qatari-Emirati Super Cup after defeating Al-Sharjah with a single goal in the match witnessed by Al-Thumama World Cup Stadium, and the President of the Qatari Football Association crowned Al-Arabi with the medals and the Super Cup.

The first half ended in a goalless draw after a quick start, as the two teams began to search for the goal and reach the net, but most of the balls ended up with the two goalkeepers, before Al-Arabi launched a pressing attack through the trio of Al-Soma, Al-Masakani and Rafael, where some chances appeared that could have been achieved. It put Al-Arabi ahead of Al-Sharjah, but its waste kept the tie intact. Al-Sharjah relied on rebounding balls from the sides, which represented the most dangerous attempt for Jassim Al-Hail, and in general the first half did not live up to what was expected.

The second half was more exciting and truly enjoyable due to the high level, especially after Al-Arabi scored the winning goal through Al-Maskani in the 58th minute after he was alone with the goalkeeper and shot the ball into the net from above him.

After Al-Arabi scored its goal with a quick attack, Sharjah tried to return to the match and initiated the attack. On the other hand, Al-Arabi retreated, preserved its goal, and succeeded its goalkeeper, Jassim Al-Hail, who saved his goal from some dangerous balls.
