Al Sadd wins the Qatar Clasico and clings to the lead

Al-Sadd continued its victories and its lead in the Qatar Stars League, after achieving a major victory over Al-Rayyan 4-0, in the match hosted by Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium at Al-Sadd Club, at the end of the 11th round matches.

The Al Sadd quartet, Algerian Baghdad Bounedjah, scored a hat-trick in the 46th, 75th and 83rd minutes, and Gonzalo Plata in the 52nd minute.

Al-Sadd dominated most of the match, especially the second half, during which they scored their four goals, while Al-Rayyan was affected by the lack of numbers, as they played with 10 players after their player Rodrigo Moreno was sent off just 7 minutes after the start of the match, after his violent intervention on Al-Sadd player Pedro Miguel.

Al Sadd raised its score to 25 points, from only 9 matches, and is expected to face Al Arabi and Al Duhail in two postponed matches, while Al Rayyan’s score froze at 19 points in fourth place.
