The Saudi Federation unveils the Club World Cup mascot
The Saudi Federation revealed the official mascot for the FIFA Club World Cup Saudi Arabia 2023, whose competitions will take place between December 12 and 22, in Jeddah.
The tournament will witness the participation of the champions of six continents, in addition to the Saudi Federation, and will be a top scorer embodying the sportsmanship and the principle that football is for everyone from all backgrounds.
Thanks to his speed, strength, and courage, Haddaf will be a source of fun and entertainment for fans of all ages. Haddaf’s homeland is the sand dunes in the western region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has acquired ball shooting skills since he was a little kitten kicking the ball with his paws, to share his passion for the beautiful game with all Saudis throughout the country.
Participating teams in the tournament are Manchester City, Mexican club Leon, making its first appearance in the tournament, Egyptian Al-Ahly, Asian champion Urawa Reds, New Zealand’s Auckland City, and the winner of the Copa Libertadores Fluminense, in addition to Al-Ittihad, the Saudi Professional League champion.
