Results of the first round of the Iraq Stars League

The first round of the Iraq Stars League season 2023/2024 began on Thursday, with four matches, and the results were as follows: Al-Talaba won the match against Al-Karkh with a clean goal in the 10th minute of stoppage time for the first half, and the match witnessed the expulsion of Al-Karkh goalkeeper Hussein Hassan after he intervened to obstruct Al-Talaba striker Hussein Lundy alone on goal.

In the rest of the matches, Al-Hodood won against its guest, Naft Al-Basra, 2-1, at Ahmed Radhi Stadium, and Al-Najaf and Naft Maysan tied 0-0, Al-Qassim defeated Amanat Baghdad, 1-0, and Newroz defeated Al-Zawraa, 2-0.

While Karbala and Naft Al-Wasat tied 2/2, Erbil and Naft 1/1, Al Quwa Al Jawiyah won over Zakho 2/1, Dohuk beat Alshorta 2/0, and Al Kahrabah beat Al-Mina 3/1.
