Al-Nasr wins over Al-Fayhaa and ignites the struggle for the lead in the Saudi League
The curtain came down yesterday evening on the matches of round 11 of the Saudi Roshan League, where Al-Nasr achieved a valuable victory against Al-Fayhaa 3/1, and reached the 25th point, and rose to second place in the standings behind Al-Hilal (29 points). The round began on Thursday with three matches, where Damac won. Al-Akhdood won 2/0, Al-Khaleej and Al-Taawoun (third place with 24 points) tied 1/1, while Al-Fateh won over Al-Raed 2/1, and at the end of Thursday’s confrontations, Al-Ittihad, the holder of Al-Lafab, tied with Al-Hazm 2/2.
While Al-Hilal won the top of the round on Friday, against Al-Ahly, and won 3/1, maintaining the top spot in the standings.
Al-Taie won over Al-Riyadh yesterday evening 3/2, Al-Shabab stumbled against Abha 1/2, and Al-Taawoun overturned a two-goal deficit against Al-Wahda to a 3/2 victory.
