Qatar unveils the 2023 Asian Cup logo

With only 100 days remaining until the start of the Asian Nations Cup scheduled to be held in Qatar early next year, the local organizing committee of the tournament held a special celebration on this occasion, attended by Datuk Seri Windsor John, Secretary General of the Asian Football Confederation, and Mansour Mohamed Al Ansari, Director General and Managing Director of the tournament. Jassim Abdul Aziz Al Jassim, CEO of the tournament, and Hani Talib Ballan, member of the local organizing committee, along with a number of senior officials in the committee.

The ceremony witnessed the unveiling of the tournament’s slogan, “Come on Asia,” which reflects the vitality and activity of the upcoming football event, and the unified nature of the prestigious tournament that brings together the teams of the Asian continent under its umbrella.

Nine stadiums designed according to the latest international standards are scheduled to host 51 matches during the period from January 12 to February 10, 2024, as Qatar prepares to host the Asian Cup for the third time, thus achieving a record in hosting the Asian Football Festival, after it succeeded in organizing the tournament twice. The eighteenth edition of the Jewel of the Asian Championships will witness the participation of Qatar, the host country, as the defending champion. Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee for the Qatar Asian Cup 2023, pointed out that hosting the Asian Championship, which will witness 51 matches in 9 stadiums, will allow fans to regain the exciting football atmosphere during the Qatar World Cup 2022.
Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani added: “Once again, we are fully prepared and ready to host a number of the best players in the world. The best 24 teams in Asia will make their way to Qatar to compete in the international football tournament on the continent.

He continued: Once again, players and fans will find world-class stadiums and sports facilities, modern infrastructure, and many exciting and vibrant cultural experiences waiting for them, providing everyone with a rich and lasting experience.
