Al-Ahly, Al-Faihaa and Al-Faisaly also qualified for the round of 16, as Al-Ahly defeated its host Al-Ain 3/2, Al-Fayhaa defeated its host Riyadh 2/1, and Al-Faisaly defeated its guest Al-Taei 2/0.

Earlier, Al Hilal also qualified for the round of 16 with a difficult victory over Al Jabalain, which is active in the first division, 1-0, while Al-Najma, which plays in the first division, caused an early surprise in the cup after defeating its guest, Al-Raed, 2-1.
