One of the best Omani football players in its history, and one of the few who can play with both feet with the same strength and accuracy in passing. He is a unique midfielder who is good at playing as a defensive midfielder with the ability to steal the ball, as well as a playmaker and an important axis for building attacks or under the spearheads.

He is the star Ahmed Hadid Al-Mukhaini, who was born in the state of Sur on July 18, 1984. He began his football career with the youth of Al-Tali’a Club in 2001, and played for the first team from 2003 to 2005, then moved to the Qatari League through the North Gate in the 2005/2006 season, after his brilliance. It is noteworthy that he played with the Omani national team, and remained with them until 2008, after which he moved to Umm Salal, but he did not stay with them for long, so another important stage came in the career of Hadid, who moved to the Saudi Al-Ittihad 2008/2011, on the recommendation of the Argentine coach Calderon, who trained him in the Oman national team.

He participated with Al-Ittihad in 53 matches, he scored two goals, and formed a wonderful duo with Saudi Saud Kariri, making Al-Ittihad’s midfield at that time classified as the strongest in the Saudi League. He contributed to achieving the league title and qualifying for the AFC Champions League final, and won the love and appreciation of Al-Ittihad fans.

In 2011, Hadid returned to Qatar from the Army Gate, with whom he played until 2013. He participated in 28 matches, then returned home in 2013 through the Fanja Club and continued with until 2015, when he moved to the Sur Club, with whom he continued until 2017.

At the international level, Hadid played with the Omani national team for 10 years from 2003 to 2013, and entered the Hundred Club, where he played 103 matches in the Omani Red shirt and scored 9 goals. He was called up to the Czech national team by Milan Machala, and he was one of the main pillars of the Red squad that reached the Gulf Cup final three times in a row, Qatar, the Emirates, then Oman in the 19th edition, in 2009, Oman won it for the first time in its history. It also participated in the 2004 and 2007 Asian Cups, and the 2002 and 2006 Asian Games.
