Iraq champion of the King’s Cup of Thailand

The Iraqi team won the friendly King’s Cup of Thailand championship after defeating the host, the Thai team, on penalties (5-4) after the end of normal time in a draw (2-2) in the final of the 49th King’s Cup of Thailand.

Iraq was crowned as the first Arab team to win this championship.
The match was held at the 700th Anniversary Stadium.
