An international Emirati refereeing team in the U-17 World Cup

The FIFA Referees Committee selected an Emirati refereeing team led by international referee Omar Al Ali, and international assistant referees Jassim Abdullah and Saeed Al Marzouqi, as part of the refereeing crews for the Junior World Cup matches scheduled to be hosted in Indonesia from November 10 to December 2, 2023.

The list of tournament referees included 18 referees, 36 assistant referees, and 18 video referees from the five continental federations. The process of selecting stadium judges comes after follow-ups by the FIFA Referees Committee on the performance of referees in continental and local competitions.
