Taif hosts the African Super Cup between the Egyptian Al-Ahly and the Algerian Ittihad Al Asemah

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the 2023 African Super Cup match, which will bring together the Egyptian club Al-Ahly, the African Champions League champion, with the Algerian Confederation Cup champion, USM Alger.

The match is scheduled to be held at King Fahd Stadium in Taif Governorate, on September 15th.

It is noteworthy that the Saudi Football Association signed a 5-year memorandum of understanding with the Confederation of African Football earlier, aimed at hosting competitions and enhancing cooperation opportunities to serve Saudi and African football.
