Al-Nasr and Al- Shabab to the King Salman Cup semi-finals
The Saudi Al-Nasr and Al-Shabab teams qualified for the semi-finals of the King Salman Cup for Arab Clubs 2023, after defeating Moroccan Raja and Emirati Al-Wehda, respectively, at the end of the quarter-finals.
Al-Nassr defeated Al-Raja 3-1 in Abha, while Al-Shabab achieved a 5-4 victory against Al-Wehda of the United Arab Emirates on penalties. The victory goals were scored by Cristiano Ronaldo, Sultan Al-Ghanam and Siko Fofana, while Raja’s goal was scored by Abdullah Madu by mistake.
In the second match, Al-Shabab decided the qualification card with penalty kicks, after the end of the first and second halves with a goalless draw, thus completing the contract for the teams qualified for the semi-finals of the King Salman Cup for Clubs 2023, which are the Iraqi Al-Shorta, Saudi Al-Hilal, Saudi Al-Nasr and Saudi Al-Shabab.
Al-Shorta and Al-Nasr will meet in Abha, while Al-Hilal will play with Al-Shabab in Taif, in the semi-final competitions, next Wednesday evening.
