An outstanding performance of the gulf teams in the second round of the King Salman Cup for Arab Clubs

The Emirati Al-Wehda ensured its qualification for the quarter-finals of the King Salman Championship for Arab Clubs, after scoring its second consecutive victory in the fourth Group, against Algerian Al Shabab Belouizdad 2/1, in the second round of the group stage.

The first half ended with Al-Wehda advancing with the goal of carrying the signature of Argentine Facundo Krosbsky in the 44th minute, and in the second half, the other Argentine Christian Guanca added the second goal in the 61st minute, then Ayman Bouqira scored the only goal for Al Shabab Belouizdad in the 84th minute.

While the Saudi Al Shabab achieved their first victory in the tournament, and defeated Egyptian Zamalek with a clean goal from the penalty mark, scored by Argentine Ever Banega in the 44th minute in the third group matches.

In the same group, Al-Nasr Al-Saudi outperformed its guest, Al-Ittihad Al-Monastiri, Tunisia, 4/1, so that Al-Nasr topped the group standings with four points, ahead of its Al Shabab compatriot, by a goal difference.
