Kuwaiti Blue loses the final of South Asia

The Kuwaiti national team lost the 2023 South Asian Championship final match, by a penalty shootout, 4/5, to the owner of the land, the Indian team, after the end of the original and extra time with a 1/1 draw.

Kuwait took the lead through Shabib Al-Khalidi in the 14th minute of the match, but the Indian national team managed to equalize in the 38th minute, in the match hosted by the Sri Kantirava Stadium in Bengaluru, and it tied in the third round against the Indian national team 1/1, to top the first group with seven points, ahead of second-placed India, then it won against Bangladesh 1/0 in the semi-finals.
