Sharjah and Al Ain win the first leg of the UAE League Cup semi-finals

Sharjah defeated its host, Al Jazira 1/0, in the first leg of the semi-finals of the UAE Football League Cup.

The return match will be held between the two teams next Monday, where the winner will meet the winner from Al Ain and Al Nasr, whose first-leg match ended with Al Ain winning 4/1.

Othman Kamara scored the match’s only goal for Sharjah in the 18th minute, while Ali Mabkhout missed Al Jazira’s penalty kick in the second minute of calculated time instead of lost for the first half.
