The Iraqi League: Al-Kahraba surprises Al Quwah Al Jawiyah and Al Shurta seizes the lead
Al-Shorta topped the Iraqi Football League after its precious victory over Al-Naft 1-0, taking advantage of the fall of Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya by losing to Al-Kahraba 2-3 in the context of the twenty-third round of the competition. Al-Shorta’s only goal was scored by Aso Rustam (7), while the Kahraba trio scored Stephen Bavor (22) and Frank Cedric (72 and 90 + 5), while the goals of Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya were scored by Muhannad Karrar (55) and Nedivziki Igoong (58).
On the other hand, Al-Zawraa defeated Al-Diwaniyah with a goal by Ali Youssef (18), and Al-Karkh defeated Al-Qasim with two goals scored by Jaafar Kazem (74) and Omar Abdul Rahman (82) against a goal signed by Karrar Alaa (45 + 3).
Newroz defeated Zakho with two goals scored by Oliveira de Souza (44 and 53), versus a goal by Farhan Shakur (23), Karbala defeated Naft Al Basra with a goal by Rida Fadel (46), and Naft Maysan defeated Al Talaba with two goals from Benjamin Akure (52 and 90 +3), against a goal by Muhammad Jawad (18).
Finally, Erbil tied with Al-Hudud with a goal for one. Emmanuel Okoye scored for the first (46) and for the second, Saif Kazem (76), and Dhonak tied with Naft Al-Wasat 0-0.
