Oman achieves its first victory in the Gulf Games against the UAE

The Omani national team began its journey by winning the first Gulf Youth Games, UAE 2024, after defeating the host UAE national team by two goals to one.

Al-Ahmar took the lead with a goal in the 69th minute through Osama Al-Maamari, and Ibrahim Al-Tamimi strengthened Al-Ahmar’s goal by scoring a second goal in the 83rd minute. A minute before the end of the match, specifically in the 89th minute, the UAE team reduced the score by scoring a goal through Mohamed Butti.
