The classification of the Gulf teams ahead of the draw for the double qualifiers

Today, the FIFA rankings for the teams were issued, ahead of the draw for the double qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup, next Thursday in Kuala Lumpur.

After the levels were officially approved, the teams of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iraq, the Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman came in the first level, accompanied by Japan, Iran, Australia and South Korea.

While Bahrain came in the second level, along with Uzbekistan, China, Jordan, Syria, Vietnam, Palestine, Kyrgyzstan and India.

Kuwait came in the third level, along with Lebanon, Tajikistan, Thailand, North Korea, the Philippines, Malaysia, Turkmenistan and Hong Kong.

It is worth mentioning that these teams will start the qualifiers from the second stage, while the fourth level includes the 18 lowest-ranked teams in the Asian continent, and they will start the qualifiers from the first stage.
