The association said in a press statement that in the round of 16 of the championship, Jahra and Al-Shabab will meet, while Al-Sulaibikhat will face Burgan, Al-Qadisiyah will meet with Al-Tadamon, while Kuwait will face Al-Sahel, Al-Yarmouk will face Al-Nasr, and Al-Salmiya will face Kazma.
They added that the quarter-finals of His Highness the Amir’s Cup will be held on the 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th of next month, while the semi-finals will be held on the 26th of the same month, pointing out that Al Arabi will participate directly in the quarter-finals as the title holder.
It is worth noting that the decision to postpone the tournament, which was scheduled for June 18, 2021, came due to the FIFA setting the date for the match between the Kuwait and Bahrain teams in the Arab Cup qualifiers in Doha, as well as the team’s association with the World Cup and Asian double qualifier matches from May 30 last Until June 15th.
